Black Sabbath Album Redesigns

I love Black Sabbath, but always felt that “Technical Ecstasy” and “Never Say Die” felt out of place in the original line ups discography. I’ve come to believe that it the album art has a lot to do with it. So this is my exploration in creating alternative packaging that feels authentic to the late 70s.

Technical Ecstasy features artwork by Frank Kelly. This artwork was original used for the paperback The Probability Man by Brain M. Ball.

Never Say Die features artwork by Peter Elson, from a paperback called The Winged Man, by A.E. van Vogt and E. Mayne Hull.

With the band photos, logos and marks I tried to stay as close to the years the albums came out. 1977 and 1978 respectively.
